About this course
The purpose of this course is to provide essential technical and managerial information that immunization program personnel need to know in order to effectively plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate immunization programs on a large scale.
After completing this course, you will be able to do the following:
- Describe the basic concepts of immunity and immunization
- Identify vaccine-preventable diseases included in immunization programs and the vaccines used to protect against them
- Discuss global initiatives to immunize all children and progress to date
