About this course
DEEC is a collaborative course that is offered to public health professionals and others and aims to improve participants’ knowledge on the principles of disease elimination and eradication and equip them with public health science, leadership and planning skills.
Course objectives:
- Enhance course participants’ understanding of the core principles of disease elimination and eradication.
- Develop strategies for the elimination and eradication of infectious diseases, particularly NTDs, polio, and malaria, through the analysis of challenges and lessons learned.
The course will be held at the UGHE campus in Rwanda. The course consists of an online portion (May 5 – June 3, 2025), plus an in-person component (June 11 – 19, 2025). For more information please email: DEEC-info@glideae.org. Application deadline is: Monday, March 31, 2025.
