Sightsavers
"We work to eliminate avoidable blindness and promote the rights of people with disabilities."
Sightsavers is an international organisation working with partners in more than 30 (developing) countries to eliminate avoidable blindness and restoring sight through specialist treatment and eye care. They also support people who are irreversibly blind by providing education, counseling and training, and help the people who need it most – those living in poverty in some of the world’s poorest countries. Sightsavers’ policy work and research is based around their three strategic priorities: health, education and social inclusion.
