The Wash

The film, part of the 2023 - "Better Health and Well-being Selection", is intentionally multidisciplinary combining various film approaches to appeal to different age groups and we have used for targeted health messages e.g. school children to demonstrate the importance of WASH for the control of waterborne diseases such as bilharzia (schistosomiasis), public health professionals to highlight the importance of taking behavioural aspects into account for disease control, and for development partners especially non-local partners to demonstrate the importance of context-relevant interventions co-produced with affected populations/end users.
